Mobile Home Repairs in Victorville
Is your HVAC system on the fritz? Is a leaky faucet keeping you awake at night? Let Cal Star Mobile Home Construction come to the rescue with our repair services!
Here are a few signs you need to call us for mobile home repairs:
- Your air conditioner has stopped working, only cools certain rooms, or takes a very long time to cool your home. Given Victorville’s proximity to the desert, a non-working air conditioner can be incredibly dangerous, especially if you have seniors or young children in the home. We can either repair your AC or suggest a more efficient replacement.
- Your sinks and shower take a long time to drain or don’t drain at all. Most of the time, poor drainage is due to food debris or hair stuck in your pipes. Sometimes, though, it’s due to tree root intrusion. This is a more serious problem that requires a pro to diagnose.
- Your lights are flickering, or you notice burning smells coming from outlets. If this happens, your home’s electrical system might not be powerful enough to meet energy demands.
- You discover cracks snaking up your walls, and your doors won’t shut properly anymore. This points to a foundation issue that can seriously damage the structural integrity of your home if not addressed.
Mobile Home Remodeling in Victorville
Mobile homes offer many exciting possibilities for upgrades. Want functional space optimization to compensate for your tiny closets? No problem. Thinking of adding a fire pit or deck to your property? Our mobile home contractors can get it done.
Check out these remodeling ideas for interior and exterior upgrades:
- Given their modest size, mobile homes can feel a bit cramped. We can carefully remove select walls of your home to make it feel more spacious than it is. Open floor plans are also popular with buyers, so this is a smart upgrade if you’re planning to sell.
- There’s nothing like relaxing on your porch with a cold one after work. We can install a custom-designed porch that rivals any you’d find for a full-sized home.
- Nobody enjoys cooking meals in a drab, boring kitchen. We’ll outfit your kitchen with gorgeous new cabinets, granite countertops, modern appliances, and other must-have features. An updated kitchen has great investment value, too.

Frequently Asked Questions
Mobile homes are quite a bit more sustainable than regular houses. That’s because the manufacturing process to make mobile homes is more efficient than for a standard house. Mobile homes emit less carbon dioxide, and many are made from eco-friendly materials. You can also install solar panels for extra energy efficiency. In short, if you’re craving sustainable living, mobile homes are a great pick.
It can be smart to live in a mobile home because mobile homes are often much more affordable than regular houses. This is especially appealing nowadays, given the sky-high price of home ownership. Over the long run, it’s more affordable than renting. Plus, mobile homes cost less to heat and cool than full-sized houses. That means you could slash your energy bills by hundreds per year by choosing a mobile home.
Mobile homes are perfect for retirees because of their smaller footprint. They’re easy to maintain and, as mentioned above, much cheaper than full-sized homes. Mobile homes are often located in desirable communities, too, which is perfect for seniors who’d like to make new friends with their neighbors.
Mobile homes can be safe in storms that aren’t too severe. They do a fine job of standing up against your average downpour. Tornadoes, on the other hand, are another story. Tornadoes can easily pick up a mobile home and send it flying, so you should never shelter inside one if a tornado blows your way.
If you’re concerned about storm damage, we offer upgrades for superior weather resistance. Call us for mobile home construction in Victorville to learn more about our safety standards.

About Victorville, CA
Victorville is a city in Victor Valley in San Bernardino County, California. Its population as of the 2020 census was 134,810. Victorville is the principal city of a Victor Valley–based urban area defined by the United States Census Bureau: the Victorville–Hesperia–Apple Valley urban area had a population of 355,816 as of the 2020 census, making it the 117th largest in the United States. == History == The Serrano people were the first Native Americans to inhabit the area. In 1858, Aaron G. Lane came to what is now known as Victorville and founded a waystation called "Lane's Crossing." For many years it provided shelter and supplies for people journeying across the desert from the east to San Bernardino. Lane's Crossing was on the Mojave River on today's Turner Road, two miles north of where Interstate 15 crosses the river. Lane was a veteran of the Mexican–American War who had had malaria during that war. Originally he migrated west to join the California gold rush, but he learned that he could make a better living selling supplies to the miners. Lane settled in Ione, near Sutter's Mill in northern California, during those years, but migrated to San Bernardino in 1857. He settled on the Mojave River in 1858, where he established his waystation.
