Mobile Home Repair & Remodeling in Upland

Upland sits on the alluvial slope below the San Gabriels, where the ground has been moving downhill for a very long time. That is why so much of our work here starts underneath the home.

Common Mobile Home Needs in Upland

Foothill ground and foothill weather drive the majority of repairs in this area.

  • Foundation & Support Repair

Piers and pads set into alluvial soil settle unevenly, and runoff from higher ground undermines footings. We repair the supports and address what moved them.

  • Re-Leveling

Sloping floors, doors that swing on their own, and gaps at the trim are the everyday symptoms. Re-leveling is one of the most cost-effective repairs a mobile homeowner can make.

  • Wind-Driven Roof Damage

Santa Ana winds come down out of the pass with force. Loosened panels and opened seams turn into ceiling stains at the next rain.

  • Heat & Aging Systems

Inland summers push older cooling equipment and original plumbing past what they were built for, often in the same season.

Why Upland Homeowners Call Cal Star

A mobile home's support system carries everything else — the structure, the plumbing, the flooring, the roofline. When piers settle, the stress moves into the rest of the home, and small gaps turn into wall cracks and flexed plumbing lines that leak.

Cal Star has completed foundation and leveling work across Southern California since 2014, and works on mobile homes exclusively. Estimates are free, we are licensed and insured, and senior, veteran, and first responder discounts are available.

FAQ

Upland Questions, Answered

How do I know whether I need re-leveling or foundation repair?

They are related. Re-leveling corrects the position of the home; foundation repair addresses damaged piers, pads, and supports. The inspection tells us which you need, and we often do both in one visit.

Will the home settle again after leveling?

Not if what caused the movement is corrected. If water is washing soil away from a footing, that has to be handled too, or the home works its way back out of level.

Does Cal Star install permanent foundations?

Yes — as a retrofit under a mobile home that is already on the property. We do not install or set new mobile homes, and we do not provide engineering re-certification services.

How quickly can you come out to Upland?

Upland is a reasonable run from our Corona headquarters, so scheduling is usually quick. Call (855) 370-3900 to set up your free estimate.
