Mobile Home Repair & Remodeling in Redlands

Redlands has some of the Inland Empire's longer-established neighborhoods, and the mobile homes here have been through decades of hot summers and Santa Ana winds. Cal Star repairs what that leaves behind.

Common Mobile Home Needs in Redlands

Age and weather exposure account for most of what we are called out for in Redlands.

  • Roofs at the End of Their Life

Decades of inland sun wears a roof out, and the last stretch is usually a series of patches that stop holding. We give you a straight answer on repair versus replacement.

  • Wind Damage to Roofs & Awnings

Santa Ana events loosen panels, open seams, and tear at awnings and carports. The leaks that follow often do not show up until the next rain.

  • Settling on Original Supports

Homes that have never been re-leveled sit low in places. Correcting it relieves the stress that shows up as cracked seams and doors that will not latch.

  • Original Plumbing & Wiring

First-generation supply lines and circuits sized for a much smaller load are common. Both tend to announce themselves before they fail outright.

Why Redlands Homeowners Call Cal Star

Mobile home roofing is genuinely different work. The structures have different weight limits and ventilation needs than site-built homes, and a contractor who installs a system that is too heavy or seals poorly creates a problem that costs more than the original roof.

Cal Star works on mobile homes only, and has since 2014. We handle shingle and insulated metal roofing, we are licensed and insured, and estimates are free.

What Redlands Homeowners Say

“Before we put in heavy tile we wanted someone to look at the foundation. Cal Star added piers where they were needed and leveled the home first.”

FAQ

Redlands Questions, Answered

Should I choose shingle or metal roofing?

It depends on your home's structure, your budget, and your priorities. Shingle is familiar and proven; insulated metal adds heat reduction and longevity. We walk through both during the estimate.

My ceiling has a water stain but I do not see roof damage. Why?

Water travels before it shows. Leaks often start at a vent, seam, or penetration and run along the structure before appearing somewhere else entirely. We trace it to the entry point.

How long does a mobile home roof replacement take?

Most are completed quickly once materials are on site, depending on the size of the home and what we find underneath. Your estimate includes a realistic timeline.

Do you serve Redlands and the surrounding San Bernardino County area?

Yes. Redlands and San Bernardino County generally are part of our service area.
