Mobile Home Services in Chino
When most people think of mobile homes, “exciting” probably isn’t the first word that comes to mind. Thanks to our innovative design solutions, though, your mobile home will be anything but boring. You’re going to love walking into your freshly remodeled home.
Remodeling is also a smart choice if you want to increase your home’s investment value. Upgrades like modern appliances, granite countertops, and new flooring can boost the sale price of your mobile home by thousands.
If you need some ideas for mobile home custom additions and interior/exterior upgrades, check out the following:
- If you enjoy entertaining and your mantra is “the more, the merrier,” the lack of space in mobile homes can be disheartening. Adding a deck or porch to your mobile home can expand your usable space, as can creative shelving and closet upgrades.
- For home chefs, kitchen upgrades are a must. Just imagine whipping up dinner on your top-of-the-line stove and fetching pans from beautifully decorated cabinets.
- Your bedroom should serve as an escape from the world, but it’s tough to relax if you hate the color of your walls. Our pros can transform your bedroom with a fresh coat of paint. Choose from hundreds of colors, such as lively crimson or soothing navy, or blend a custom hue.
Mobile Home Repair in Chino
When you’ve got a broken pipe or your air conditioner won’t turn on, there’s no time to waste. You need speedy repairs, and that’s exactly what you get when you choose Cal Star Mobile Home Construction in Chino.
Sometimes, it’s clear you need a repairman, but other times, it’s tough to know for sure. That’s a problem because little issues can spiral into costly repair bills if not promptly addressed.
The following are some common yet subtle signs you need mobile home repairs:
- Your showers and/or sinks drain too slowly. Don’t ignore slow drainage because, eventually, your drains won’t work at all. You might also have tree roots and soil blocking your pipes, which can damage your home’s structural integrity if not promptly removed.
- Your air conditioner runs constantly. This could mean your AC is too small for your mobile home. It might also indicate a part failure.
- Your outlets spark when you plug things in. If this happens, the wiring in your mobile home may need to be replaced. Your home’s electrical system might also be too underpowered to handle the load.
- You hear running water from behind the walls. Toilets make a similar sound after using them, but the noise should stop after a minute or so. If it sounds like there’s a river running through your bathroom, you may have a burst pipe.
- Your furnace makes bizarre noises. If you hear banging, ringing, or screeching, call for repairs before the furnace fails.

Frequently Asked Questions
It can be worth buying a mobile home in California if purchasing a full-sized house is beyond your budget. Because of their smaller footprint, mobile homes are also ideal for sustainable living. Mobile homes boast good investment value so long as you make the right upgrades. The biggest downside to a mobile home is that you’ll have to pay rent for the land it sits on (this is true even if your home is fully paid off).
Mobile home lot sizes vary widely, so it’s impossible to give specific dimensions. Small lots, which are ideal for single-wide homes, can measure around 20 by 60 feet. Bigger lots may measure about 60 by 120 feet. Before buying a mobile home, you must ensure it fits on your desired lot.
California is one of the best places to live if you’ve got a mobile home. Unlike the rest of the country, it rarely sees tornadoes and hurricanes, which can tear the average mobile home to shreds. California does have wildfires and earthquakes to worry about, but these disasters are troublesome for owners of full-sized homes, too.
To boost your mobile home’s energy efficiency, you’ll want to focus on insulation. You can never have too much insulation, as it does an excellent job of retaining warmth in the winter and cool air in the summer. Add insulation to your walls and roof, and swing for insulated skirting as well. You should also caulk cracks and install energy-efficient windows. Choose double-paned windows, which feature an insulating air gap between the panes. When you call us for mobile home construction in Chino, we’ll help you pick the best efficiency upgrades for superior weather resistance.

Chino is bounded by Chino Hills and Los Angeles County to the west, Pomona to the northwest, unincorporated San Bernardino County (near Montclair) to the north, Ontario to the northeast, Eastvale to the southeast in Riverside County and Orange County to the southwest.
